Microneedling + PRF Treatment
Simple, effective and 100% natural
No Chemicals. No Fillers. All NATURAL regenerative science.
What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a popular cosmetic procedure that uses 12 sterilized microneedles to micropuncture the skin, resulting in increased collagen production. Microneedling should not be a painful process, but it may cause some discomfort when not done properly.
What is PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin)?
Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is a natural, autologous biomaterial derived from a patient’s own blood that is widely used to accelerate healing and tissue regeneration. Created through a simple centrifugation process without the need for anticoagulants or additives, PRF forms a fibrin matrix enriched with platelets, growth factors, and immune cells. This matrix not only supports wound healing by releasing bioactive molecules over time but also provides a natural scaffold for new cell growth. Because it is biocompatible, cost-effective, and easy to prepare, PRF has become a valuable tool in oral surgery, periodontics, implantology, and other fields of regenerative medicine. See more below on the evolution of PRF.

How do they work together?
Microneedling with PRF Treatment
Microneedling with PRF is a simple procedure in which we extract a sample of your blood to process your Bio-PRF, which we then apply to your facial skin. Next, we use DermaPen to puncture your skin using a vibrating stamp-like motion, allowing the PRF to penetrate deeper into your skin.
Microneedling and PRF are highly effective treatments individually, but combining them creates a powerful solution to a variety of skin issues.
What are the Benefits of Microneedling with PRF?
Microneedling with PRF carries several benefits for people who desire to have a natural-looking, rejuvenated complexion without undergoing extremely invasive procedures.
Advanced and natural treatment – the most technologically advanced, safest and effective treatment for skin rejuvenation today!
PRF injections and microneedling are used to infuse facial tissues with regenerative growth factors and cells that stimulate, repair and rejuvenate damaged areas on fine lines on the face.
It forms a “super” blood clot with significantly elevated concentrations of regenerative cells and growth factors capable of stimulating healing. The PRF method accumulates up to 6-8 times more platelets and leukocytes when compared to whole blood. These cells then release more growth factors and promote quick healing, resulting in a low downtime.
Benefits & Treatments
PRF Microneedling treatment benefits include:
Improved skin color, texture, and tone
Reduced wrinkles, fine lines, dark spots, and scars
Increased collagen production
Improved skin health and appearance
PRF Microneedling can treat the following skin problems:
Sun spots
Acne scars
Visible pores
Wrinkles and fine lines
Hyperpigmentation
Rosacea
The Process
PRF is the most technologically advanced, effective, and safest treatment for skin rejuvenation available today.
By introducing your body’s own platelets back into the face, it invigorates and strengthens the existing tissues to effectively and naturally regenerate lost tissues due to aging with no added chemicals or byproducts.
Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is a natural rejuvenation method using your own body’s powerful blood and growth factors. Blood is drawn from the patient, then that blood is spun at elevated speeds in a horizontal PRF machine to create natural, concentrated growth factors.
Once PRF is injected back into the damaged areas of the face, it participates in a number of biologic events that help stimulate revascularization of the skin, as well as improve the recruitment and production of new cells to replace old/damaged tissue. PRF can therefore be utilized effectively to rejuvenate the skin that has been damaged due to the rigors of aging, acne scarring, overexposure to the sun, and other chemical elements.
Step-by-Step Breakdown
Here’s what to expect when you visit Mind & Body Infusion Therapies for a PRF microneedling treatment. *Results may vary.
Blood Extraction
First, we will draw a small amount of your blood through a virtually painless procedure.
Separate platelets using a horizontal centrifuge. The patients blood is spun at elevated speeds in a horizontal PRF machine to create natural, concentrated growth factors.
Blood is separated into a platelet-rich layer.
Apply the platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) topically on the patient. Using the microneedle, the PRF is injected back into the damaged areas of the face. It participates in a number of biologic events that help stimulate revascularization of the skin, as well as improve the recruitment and production of new cells to replace old/damaged tissue.
The Evolution of Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF)
Platelet concentrates have been utilized in medicine for over 3 decades owing to their ability to rapidly secrete growth factors.
Many years ago, it was proposed that by concentrating platelets utilizing a centrifugation device, autologous growth factors derived from blood could be collected from a platelet-rich plasma layer, and later utilized in surgical sites to promote local wound healing. Today, it has been well established that platelet concentrates act as a potent mitogen capable of:
Speeding the revascularization of tissues (angiogenesis)
Acting as a potent recruitment agent of various cells, including stem cells (chemotaxis)
Inducing the prompt multiplication of various cell types found in the human body (proliferation)
Various systematic reviews from multiple fields of medicine have now demonstrated their ability to support the regeneration of a number of cell types and tissues.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
The entire procedure takes between 15-30 minutes.
-
The procedure is virtually painless and relies on a simple blood draw utilized in everyday blood labs.
-
Typically, the skin will appear red (similar to a mild sunburn) for 24-48 hours. With PRF, downtime is drastically reduced owing to the ability to rapidly increase the body’s own natural regenerative cells and growth factors. Almost immediately after the procedure, your skin will generally feel tighter, with greater improvements usually observed within 3 days. Depending on your skin color and condition, you may completely heal within 24 hours post-needling, especially if an appropriate post-treatment skin care regimen is followed.
-
Within 24 hours, patients will begin to notice an immediate flow of the skin. Collagen production will reach its peak around 2-4 weeks post-needling and continue for up to 6 months.
-
When tissues are required to heal, they need certain proteins and growth factors to stimulate healing. These are naturally found in the human body. This method produces up to 6-8 times more regenerative cells when compared to whole blood. That means more growth factors, more ways to fight infections, and reducing the post-op pain naturally.
-
Typically, a small sample of blood is collected the same way as in a blood lab and is immediately placed in a Bio-PRF centrifugation system to concentrate cells and growth factors up to 10x higher than what’s typically found in whole blood. This supra-concentration of blood (C-PRF) is then topically applied to the face, and the microneedling device then penetrates the cells and growth factors into various deeper layers of the skin to promote the regeneration process.
Microneedling with PRF is a go-to treatment modality for smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, while favoring a glow-like, healthy, young skin texture.
